How replacement requests work
Start with a secure file lookup so we can confirm that your card record is eligible for replacement service.
If your original file was issued through National Boating Safety School, we can continue the request from there. If not, we will point you toward the right support path.
Why we verify first
Replacement-card service needs to confirm the original record before a new card is issued.
- We match by first name, last name, and date of birth.
- If more than one file could match, we ask for a postal code to narrow it safely.
- Only records that are eligible for replacement service are surfaced.
- We keep ordering on the current brand and do not redirect you to a partner site.
If we cannot confirm your file automatically, support will review the request manually.
Why carrying your card still matters
A replacement order does not change the requirement to carry proof of competency. If your original card came from another provider, contact that provider or Transport Canada before ordering with National Boating Safety School.
Safe ordering reminders
Before you place a replacement order, make sure the record we found is the one you expect.
- Use the same legal first and last name that appeared on your original card.
- Enter your date of birth in YYYY-MM-DD format.
- If prompted, use the postal code from the mailing address on file.
- If you are unsure which provider issued your original card, contact support before paying.
- Do not place multiple replacement orders while support is already reviewing your case.
Ontario and Canada-wide validity
The replacement process is designed for Canadian PCOC records handled under National Boating Safety School. If your card was issued elsewhere, the lookup may stop and direct you to support.
